About

“Art is the only way to run away without leaving home”

Elizabeth Langreiter is a Sydney-based artist known for her unique mixed media aerial paintings, which transport viewers into a world of joy and playfulness. Her creations often trigger happy memories, thanks to her expert use of pattern, color, and texture. Elizabeth's paintings have gained recognition and captured the hearts of collectors worldwide.

Inspired by her idyllic Australian childhood and the desire to spread joy, Elizabeth's most popular artworks feature hand-sculpted 3D characters on intricately detailed canvases. Her artistic journey began in 2008 after a head injury ignited her passion for painting. Her fearless approach and love for experimentation led her to develop a truly unique style that consistently delights viewers.

In 2016, Elizabeth was selected as one of Australia's top 100 emerging artists by a panel of experts, including Ben Quilty and Roslyn Oxley. This led to her participation in The Other Art Fair Sydney and a solo exhibition at The Milk Factory Gallery, Bowral. Since then, she has exhibited extensively across Australia and internationally, including Asia Contemporary Art Show HK and the Affordable Art Fair HK in 2019, where her work generated great interest.

Elizabeth's career highlights include being the "Live Artist" at the World Congress of Accountants Gala Event in 2018 and a solo exhibition at Jinsan Gallery in Seoul in August 2019. She has exhibited in galleries in Los Angeles, Singapore, Sydney, and Noosa, and her work is held in collections across the globe.

With her ongoing success, Elizabeth continues to exhibit at prestigious art fairs in cities such as Hong Kong, Seoul, Busan, Shanghai, Sydney, and Singapore, further solidifying her presence in the international art scene.
